Professional Biography
Jim has over 20 years of business experience in Staffing, Human Resources, Technology Resource Management, Performance Management, Succession Planning, and Strategic Direction setting. Gaining a reputation as a technological expert, many of the twenty-plus years were spent in a retail environment followed by providing staff augmentation and consulting for a variety of Fortune 500 firms. Jim holds a Bachelor and Master’s Degree and numerous additional graduate credit hours towards a Ph.D.
In a corporate setting, Jim sourced and hired over 600 professionals from technical developers to vice-presidents and above. Following a successful thirty plus year corporate career, Jim has worked in a staffing environment placing over 600 professionals in Information Technology, Finance, Engineering, and Human Resources positions encompassing titles such as developers, analysts, managers, generalists, directors and numerous “C” level titles. Most recently, Jim has assisted over 100 professionals seeking a new direction and a new reality in today’s rapidly changing job market.
Jim has also provided consulting expertise to a number of firms detailing staffing needs, accurate job descriptions, salary data, and provided documented advice related to performance management through out-sourcing areas, and white papers on several topics encompassing pay-for-performance, retention actions, and “Success Doesn’t Happen By Accident.”
A major portion of Jim’s value proposition is people knowledge and the ability to express himself to all levels of personnel from “C” level staff through hourly personnel. He has a proven track-record to assist people with resume preparation, directional search, successful interviewing and closing a potential job offer.
